Ria's Roadkill Jerky - Korean BBQ

Ria's Korean BBQ is one of the most complex jerky flavors I have tried. There's a lot going on here. I was expecting it to be hot, like a jerky version of Bulgogi, but this is more of a fruity, sweet flavor. The Korean BBQ is an acquired taste that you acquire very quickly. The more you eat, the more you want. very different and very good.

The Long Beach, CA company was started in 2011 and is company is operated by Eden Van, Mr Van uses USDA Choice top round in his recipes. Ria's is available through Facebook and eBay. The jerky is hand-trimmed and machine sliced for consistency. The meat is then marinated for 48 hours. They use Hickory, Apple, and Cherry wood to smoke depending on the flavor. Beef jerky is smoked everyday, so that you will get it fresh and fast as possible.

Ria's Korean BBQ  comes in bite-sized pieces so there is no need to "tear off a chunk". The pieces are moist, tender and slightly sticky .

Riding and Eating Tips
Another benefit of Ria's Roadkill Jerky to those of us who ride on two wheels, the packaging is perfect for riding. The resealable bag will easily fit in my Goldwing glove box, or in a tank bag. You could even keep it in your jacket pocket. The bite-size pieces are also easier to manage when riding.
