Ed's Custom Beef Jerky - Jalapeno

Ed's Jalapeno flavor won 2nd place in the 2013 Pepper and More contest. No surprise, this is great jerky with a jalapeno kick that is not too hot, but let's you know you are in a fight. There is a salty, vinegary, peppery flavor that is very unique, and delicious.
The Jalapeno jerky comes in bite sized slices that are very easy to consume, like other Ed's flavors I have tried . There's no need to "tear off" a chunk. Just pop a piece in your mouth and enjoy. Jerky is moist and tender. Perhaps the tenderness comes from the 100% USDA London Broil that Ed's claims to use in their jerky. Whatever they use, it is delicious!

Ed's jalapeno jerky is on my short list of flavors to order for my next road trip.

Riding and Eating Tips
Ed's jerky comes in a large vacuum-sealed see-thru bag that is resealable to keep the jerky moist and fresh. However, the bag is a little large to keep on your bike when riding. I suppose that you could fold it in half and stick it in your tank bag or pocket. The bite-sized pieces make popping a piece in your mouth while riding much easier!
